John Hilmes is a forward deployed creative technologist in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Trained as an architect on projects at the scale of Google's North Bayshore campus, he has spent two decades making complex systems legible enough to improve — buildings at Bjarke Ingels Group, cloud GPUs at Paperspace, and a new category of consumer aviation as Chief Product Officer of KinectAir.

The current work is brick-and-mortar AI revenue operations: as Head of Product at Aircraft Executives, production LLM agents and ML valuation models that aviation professionals rely on daily — and at Socceria, the independent soccer bar he co-founded and operates, software that answers to a physical room every shift.

The range runs from enterprise data platforms to a thirty-table dining room, and the method is constant across it: prototype cheap, live with it, keep or kill. The through-line is restraint — systems that move revenue without adding noise.
