Every capability starts as the cheapest possible probe against real data, validated in usability sessions with working professionals, then hardened for production with explicit review points — model output as part of an operating system, not a standalone feature.
Tested competing approaches to aircraft ranking; shipped the validated top-decile signal (lift@10 of 1.29) and retired the tier labels that did not hold up statistically.
