Working with my friends and collaborators at StudioSchwitalla, we developed a multi-modal site concept for KinectAir’s decentralized air mobility network.
There are over 5,000 airfields in the United States - yet 70% of air travel is routed through just 30 major hubs.
Investment today in smaller, regional airports will lay the groundwork for the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) future, and the clean energy production that will power it.
The project reimagines these network nodes as active sites for travelers and locals alike, and proposes a mix of hospitality, recreation, meeting rooms & co-working.
