At Newtown Creek and Gowanus, linked sections extend the waterfront route. Separate walking and cycling bridges join the decks; each section retains secured submerged halls. The original proposal’s vertical LED field returns, with warm light fading on at dusk. Scrub the clock or play a full day. A High Line–inspired roof park: timber peels into benches, perennial planting wraps resting pockets, and a river walk runs parallel to the buffered cycleway. Floating wetland modules put living roots into the central water openings. Public circulation stays upstairs. Submerged data halls have separate, gated staff access.

A 2.7 m level park walk and 3 m rising promenade stay clear of seating. Two marked arrival crossings connect the quay across the cycleway. Staff-only cores and galleries serve the halls; no public stair or hatch. Proposed geometry throughout. Rack counts describe space, not installed capacity. Wetland area describes geometry, not a treatment rating.
